What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All Expansions, Game Packs, Stuff Packs, and Kits except the Dust kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Select Give Romantic or Friendly Gift, to select a gift from your Sim's inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I select "Romantic Gift" or "Friendly Gift", it doesn't open the inventory selection box and I receive a Last Exception error.
What do you expect to see? I expect to have the selection box pop up so I can select a gift from inventory to give to another Sim.

Please describe the patch or change you made. This bug appeared after the February 27th, 2024 patch updated in my game, the patch in preparation for the Crystal Creations Stuff Pack. Shortly after the download of that patch, this bug began to appear.
I have done suggested workarounds such as making sure there is no spoiled produce or paintings in my inventory, and this bug still occurs. I used TwistedMexi's latest Better Exceptions mod to break down if it is a mod and even removed mods one-by-one to see if it is a mod, but the bug still happens on vanilla game and the Better Exceptions report states that with all mods in place it cannot locate a bugged mod and lists the bug as possibly "ui_dialog_picker" as the source of the bug. I am not sure how to fix this, but it is getting annoying and it makes it so my Sim can't gift a crafted jewelry ring or anything for Love Day or any other day frankly.
I have heard a similar thing happening with giving a food or drink to toddlers. My Sims do not have toddlers yet, so I am unsure if this is the case with my toddlers as well. However, considering it is happening with selecting something from my inventory for gifts, it is more than likely the case for similar selection processes.
