[FIXED] [SD] Sims Wearing Shoes on Yoga Mats

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All expansions except Cottage Living. All game packs except DHD and Batuu. All stuff packs. Own Loft and Country Kitchen kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Sims use the yoga mat, either the instructor or the regular version.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims perform animations the same but with shoes still on their feet. Used to remove them before the latest patch.
What do you expect to see? Sims in bare feet or socks while doing yoga.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Patch from 9/7/2021. Spa Day Refresh.

Sims are no longer removing their shoes for yoga mat routines. On console, so no mods or CC, but have seen people and videos with Sims wearing shoes while doing yoga. Doesn’t seem too zen.

Over the years, Yoga practices have incorporated a number of equipment choices such as super comfy and hypoallergenic mats, yoga socks, sweat-proof technology clothing and towels, you name it… but what is never OK is practicing Yoga with shoes on. Sims should no longer be practicing Yoga with shoes on, as if.

Fixed in Patch 1.81.72/1.49

@crinrict Sorry about that. When I originally made the post, it wasn’t working as a bug report, but it works in edit mode. I am on mobile, in case that’s a bug and the info would be helpful.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions: ALL but Eco and Cottage Living Game: ALL but Batuu Stuff: ALL Kits: COURTYARD OASIS
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In Live Mode, Click on Yoga mat. Choose Practice Yoga. Sim practices yoga with shoes.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim changes into fitness gear, and Sim does yoga with shoes on.
What do you expect to see? Sim change into fitness gear, which includes shoes, but removes shoes before practicing yoga. (Such as before the Spa Day Refresh)
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It started after the automatic Spa Day Refresh Download

You can choose any notable Sims 4 YouTuber to see this bug in action. However, I don't believe anyone has mentioned it.

They also do not remove their shoes on the yoga mat nor for foot massages...

@SCyberTaz I moved your post over to the thread on that issue.

The thread you posted in was for an issue related to the taking off shoes sign and was mod related.

@247Mitzy I've also noticed this! What's even less zen is that they while they're not taking off their shoes, they all seem to remove their socks, haha

The same thing is happening in my game. I'm on PC in a mod-free test save. All Sims are wearing shoes while doing yoga.
I double-checked the Spa Day refresh release trailer and the Sims are definitely not wearing shoes in the trailer:
I'll try a few more tests and update here if I find anything new.

I also have this bug in my game, I believe it started after the Spa Day patch. I owned Spa Day before that, and this hasn't been a problem before.

Steps: Do yoga on a yoga mat (instructor mat / regular mat)
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim keeps their shoes on when doing yoga
What do you expect to see? Sims doing yoga bare feet (take off shoes + socks)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EP's except Cottage Living. All GP's except Dream Home Decorator and Journey to Batuu. All SP's except Kids Room, Toddler Stuff, and My First Pet stuff. none of the kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Sims use the yoga mat, either the instructor or the regular version, or get a foot massage or pedicure
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims perform animations the same but with shoes still on their feet. Used to remove them before the Spa Day update

There are a lot of weird things going on with the Spa Day update. The main thing being that Sims won't take off their shoes while doing activities involving feet, such as yoga routines or even foot massages. It looks so bizarre seeing a Sim getting their foot kneaded with shoes still on or getting their toenails painted with their shoes on. I've noticed that during a mood change (Sims portrait going from one mood to another) the shoes disappear for a brief moment before returning.
