[FIXED] [SE] [CoL] Required Seaweed ingredient missing from game

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.131.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? cats and dogs, city living, cottage living, discover university, eco lifestyle, get famous, get to work, get together, island living, seasons, snowy escape, dine out, dream home decor, jungle adventure, outdoor retreat, realm of magic, parenthood, spa day, strangerville, vampires, backyard stuff, bowling night stuff, cool kitchen stuff, fitness stuff, kids room stuff, laundry day stuff, Luxury Party stuff, Moschino stuff, movie hangout, nifty knitting, paranormal, perfect patio, romantic garden, spooky stuff, tiny living, toddler stuff, vintage glamour stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? add seaweed to the game, or remove it as an ingredient
What happens when the bug occurs? For the simple living lot trait for cottage living, seaweed is needed to make the snowy escape recipes onigiri, seaweed ramen, and the sushi rolls. However, it is not possible to get seaweed in the game.
What do you expect to see? There to be seaweed in the game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have tried snorkeling, diving, and fishing without luck. The only debug option for seaweed is the non-interactable object that is sometimes caught while fishing and thrown back into the water. I tried the kelp from island living, and this did not work as an ingredient. Multiple other people have reported this issue on different forums with no solution.

    Well the only foods that I know of which requires seaweed came with Snowy Escape. If you don't have that pack, such foods wouldn't even be on your sims' menu

    There is a food stand that is hidden in the catalog called the ready set go shack (or something similar) that only shows up during the fishing tournament in onalihi town (forgive spelling) which is Saturdays in game I believe. That is probably the one that has the seaweed ingredient you can buy but I have yet to test it in game. 

    Regardless it is probably a bug that items from snowy escape require having island living and I have dropped a me too.

    For anyone who uses mods, there appear to be a variety of mod workarounds for this now - some provide the seaweed, while others replace the required ingredient.

    Related, but I noticed that some of the Snowy Escape recipes also require wasabi, which I think is only available if you have the City Living pack? Jeez.

    Living in the Simple Living Challenge can be rewarding, except when you can’t eat your Onigiri, Seaweed Ramen, and Avocado Maki Rolls. Our designers decided that Seaweed shouldn’t be the secret ingredient, so now you can make these dishes when living a simpler living.

    Fixed in Patch 1.82.99/1.50
