    Mountain Climb Excursions now start instead of automatically canceling. Let's go conquer those climbs together!

    Fixed in Patch 1.90.358/1.91

    I do hope this fix is also for existing saves.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Seasons Get to work Snowy escape Vampires Island living Jungle adventure Get together
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I have my sim plan the social event of a mountain excursion it leads me to a page for the location of the event and only gives me the option of “generic” and the image is of a grey llama. I am unable to make this event happen. I cannot figure out how to go on a mountain excursion. I think it has something to do with this error
What do you expect to see? It is supposed to give me the option of the bath house for the location and then I am supposed to be allow to go on the mountain excursion
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Could you try if repairing the game works ?
1. Close the game
2. Right-Click on the game in Origin
3. Hit Repair game.

    @crinrictI've also been having this issue, and repairing the game didn't help. I didn't try the mountain excursion prior to the latest update, but from what I've seen in other threads, it seems to be related to the update.

    Edit: I should add, I do not have any mods or custom content installed.

    To fix it you gotta find a sim you know you sim knows. Move 5at sim into a lot (if not in one already) and invite your sim over to hang out. Press save and manage worlds and wala! You can play your sim again, you can even bring other sims over in the household to he lot your sim is on to save them from the bug too.

      I also fixed it! I clicked on my Sims house and didn't click play, I clicked travel and had him travel to his own house.  But still can't do the mountain climb

    Do we know if there is any sort of fix or work around for this? I've tried so many different things hoping it would fix it and I'm having no joy. 

    I can't even seem to try and repair my game cos I'm using EA Desktop not Origin and I can't find out out to repair a game there.....

      Only bought the pack a few weeks ago and I've had this issue since installing it. Repairing doesn't work. Nothing does. I can't use the mountain climber aspiration, can't use the social event, only have limited use of the skill...

      PC, no mods, tried repairing, tried uninstalling, tried new and existing saves. I own every pack up to Batuu, and then quit buying them. After Batuu, I only have Tiny Living and Snowy Escape.

      Honestly at this point I just want my money back. I don't care about jumping through more hoops to try and fix something that shouldn't have been this broken to begin with, and it makes the entire pack pretty much useless. Anyone know who I write for a refund?

        I’d be curious to see how you get on with that. I’m torn on whether or not to bother doing it but if you’re successful in getting a refund, then I’d be up for trying the same. I’m so glad I bought it on sale at the very least. I really am trying to have a bit of patience with them but a whole expansion pack that’s basically unplayable really shouldn’t be on sale right now.

        Unless you regularly check these forums - which I didn’t before buying this pack - then there’s no way you’d know you were purchasing an unplayable pack. £35/the bundle price is a lot of money for some folk. They need to acknowledge it, make it well known to potential buyers and ideally remove it from sale until it’s fixed.
