[FIXED] See-Through floor and ground with basements

Okay, so I've been trying to find a thread that describes this problem but I haven't really found one.... But I do have ADD (for real) so it's very possible I just missed it. :P Please tell me if there is one! 🙂

Anyway, I have just built a house on the Cacti Casa lot in Oasis Springs and besides the "normal" terrain glitch (see here - subtle level difference showing as lines in the flooring), I noticed something new.

The ground and a bit of the floor has become see-through in one place, showing the basement outer wall and blue nothingness around it. (see links below)

I think this might have appeared when I deleted a room in the basement, but I'm not sure. Didn't notice it until I toggled back up to the ground level.

Has anyone seen this and know why it's happening? Is it a patch bug? I do have some cc in my game and on this lot...

    Not seeing this with this particular lot since I started a new world and placed it - working fine. Did experience it with another lot temporarily after copying a room to my libarary (lost all the floors/ walls, ground transparent) but resolved by reloading a saved game. This lot also had an exposed ground area within my build.

    So, short answer - no 🙂

    Thanks for taking the time to look at this. The issue occurred again yesterday during play, though interestingly it doesn't affect Sims, who walk over the transparent ground. The lot I used is the 50x50 top of the Oasis Springs map.

    Seems it's time to bring this back. I made this really detailed house with a basement and I'm running into the exact same glitch as OP. My lot is on the Gallery. My name is the same on there as it is here. The Lot is called "The Mystery Shack". I put a lot of hours into this build. I don't want the lot to be useless! ☹️

    @IsaacplaysSims4 which lot were you building on?  I tried your build on both 64x64 lots in Windenburg and didn't see any problems with it.  Would you please post a screen shot or video that shows exactly where you're seeing glitch (i.e. what part of the house/structure)?  Also, if you haven't already, make sure to try removing any mods/CC, clearing your cache, repairing the game via Origin, and starting a new save.  Place the build on the same lot in the new save and see if you still experience the glitch.  And please make sure that your graphics card driver is up to date.

    It's on the left side of Windenberg. I don't currently have any custom content or mods. Removed them because the game wasn't starting. I've tried putting it on a new save and it didn't help. As soon as I can get on my computer, I'll try removing the cache and running a repair. Thank you 🙂 @BryonyRae

    No problem, and if you are still experiencing the glitch after doing that, please post a screen shot or video that shows exactly where you're seeing it on the build. 🙂

    I’m having a really similar issue. I made a multilevel room for one of my sims in the basement (using platforms) but the ladders don’t work. The ladder into the basement works, but neither of the other two do. When i placed them, the floor underneath them (the single tile) disappeared. Once i removed them the tile came back, but when i put the ladders back i still have the issue.
