    Sims will be more discerning over who they decide is worth mourning when an NPC Sim passes away.
    Fixed in Patch 1.47.49

Same problem. I haven't played in a while so not sure when it started, but I recently added Jungle Adventure and Seasons and started a new game. I wasn't sure of how bad it was until I had a Sim I had just met (literally just introduced and ordered a drink from) cause this. I have no mods or CC.
