Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This is obviously an issue with the update. I tried running the game for 12 sim hours, nothing. I tried resetting everything, nothing. I have repaired my game several times (and lost some DLC purchased on steam rather than origin in the process!). I have reset my computer. I tried playing on the windows disk in my mac. All have done absolutely nothing, the game is still completely broken.
What happens when the bug occurs? Entire world is frozen, no matter what lot I play on. Sims only running idle animations, they cannot to do any actions. All sims, regardless of the save, cannot do any actions despite me cueing them. They stand there and stare into space, or start the action but never finish it. Vendors stand idle outside stands, food impossible to order due to “no counter space”. Bars unusable, showing options as if they are attended but the order options are greyed out, with the mixologist not behind the bar. When needs degrade they somehow stay green. Larger saves crash when being loaded, before entering the house. Build mode functions no problem. CAS, no problem. Gameplay is completely unplayable.
What do you expect to see? Sims that function.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. Infant update. I played for hours prior to installation with no issues.
I hope I don’t come off upset at the devs, I understand this happens frequently with games. I am however incredibly frustrated with the game, I have been trying to fix this for a day.
