I have my wedding stories, seasons, get to work, get together, get famous, high school years, growing together, discover university, cottage living, city living, cats and dogs, parenthood, toddler stuff, perfect patio stuff, my first pet, and blooming rooms kit
I really don't know what's going on in your game or with others that have similar issues. I've looked at several saves and it's never been save related.
I deleted everything from my laptop, including the game file and EA app. I really have no idea what it is. It sucks because I put so much time and money into this game. I really wish someone knew what's happening.
You might not like this solution, but it will work. It worked for me after another of their updates a while ago. So, you put all your families into the gallery that are not there yet. Put all your personal designed houses there. Check which lots aren't there. When you know you've everything you liked saved, start a new game, open a lot, place a house from the gallery, then a family from the gallery. You'll miss out on nothing, and that helped me after all their updates that broke my saves.
Edit. Sorry I meant your library, you don't need to publish anything you don't want to. Just save to the library.
