Going to mark this as solved cause lately all reports have been mod related.
I have had this happen a couple of times. Things that I have tried to fix this seem to work but not necessarily in any particular order.
Repair game through Origin.
if that fails, I load the game, load my usual family. I will then travel to another area such as the bar or something, upon my return the problem will have usually resolved itself. I have to do this with the constant showers as well. If you've had a sim finish their shower, but the water doesn't stop animating.
This problem just happened this morning. I repaired the game via Origin, loaded my world and the problem was solved.
It seems to happen when you save the game while a sim is in the middle of changing actions or the game decideds to Auto save.
This problem has persisted on my PC as well as my Mac. NO CC or MOD installed.
PC: Acer Aspire XC 605G UW20 8GB RAM, Intel HD 4400 w/ 1GB VRAM. Windows 7.
Apple: Mid 2007 iMac 4GB RAM with AMD Radeon 256MB.
