@AlHollandiyah I just have a number of questions from the tester looking at the issue.
Does the message that the interaction is not available appear when clicking on any part of the flame?
What object(s) caught on fire when this issue occurred?
Can you provide a save with the household where they saw this issue occur?
I'm sorry for responding so late, apparently my email program all of the sudden decided that the emails from EA HQ where spam. Sigh. Anyway, I clicked frantically on the flame so I have clicked a lot of areas but I didn't methodically click the whole flame. The object on fire was in this case a BBQ, and unfortunately I do not have that save anymore. I did try the next day to reproduce the error, but as always when you actually WANT something to go wrong, it doesn't happen. (Edit: I meant that nothing went up in flames so I couldn't test if I got the same error message!) If there is any way I can test it legit please let me know and I'd love to help!

@AlHollandiyah Thank you very much for responding. Glad this issue is resolved and you sims are safer from the dreaded flame. If the issue occurs again let us know.

I didn't say it was resolved, I said I couldn't reproduce it. Meaning, when I tried to test it again nothing got set on fire. I tried my hardest, making my sims cook on cheap furniture while very tired and without cooking skills, but nothing went wrong. As always when you wánt something to go wrong. So the issue is still there, only I don't know how to test it if I can't set anything on fire! Sorry if I wasn't clear in my previous post!

@AlHollandiyah Sorry for the confusion. If you do have another fire and the same issue occurs please do provide us the save and we will investigate. The information about your clicking and what caught fire is also very helpful.
- hestiah236 years agoSeasoned Ace@AlHollandiyah I found that my Sim will only extinguish one fire flame but ignore the rest, allowing it to spread. At times they can’t route to the fire due to it being in the corner of the lot? I’m not sure. It doesn’t make much sense. If anything, the fire needs to be put out and should be able to no matter where the Sim is. If I use the teleport cheat, they have a chance of catching on fire while they try to “route” towards the “allowed” spot to extinguish.

@hestiah23, have you tried clicking different places of the fire? I found it is mostly a bug with layering in the game. I.e. other layers like the floor or placed items sometimes get more priority then the flame, which shouldn't happen of course. You probably have the best chance of actually selecting the fire at a 'dead' point, as in a location of it which doesn't cover the floor or an object. Because in those places there is literally nothing else to select then the fire itself!
- hestiah236 years agoSeasoned Ace@AlHollandiyah It doesn’t work. They still have routing issues to extinguish the fire. I usually have to wait it out but then my Sims can’t really do anything because there’s is a fire in the lot.
