You can now extinguish a fire, even if the fire is within another object.

Similar problem here. I have no mods or cc installed. I am playing with the new jungle expansion pack, though. My scientist sim tried to transform a counterfeit artifact using his sim ray. This started a fire. The fire is so far contained to the archaeology table, which is located outside, on his patio. When I click the fire, I can choose the option "extinguish with freeze ray," but then the sim just panics and the option is cancelled. He can't do -anything- else. The fire has blazed for most of a sim day with no sign of stopping. Meanwhile, my sim's needs are decaying and he can't/won't do anything because there's a fire on the lot!
EA! Give us firefighters back!
