[FIXED] Sims Constantly Trying to Shower

New update is causing all of my Sims to take constant showers. I can't get them to stop taking showers. Can someone help???

Literally same! I don't use any mods, only cosmetic CC. My sims, pre-generated sims, automatically generated, doesn't matter, they all want a shower every 10 seconds regardless of where their hygiene level is at. Trying to manage larger households is terrible!

How often does the bug occur? Very frequently, sometimes every ten seconds.
What is your current game version number? 1.103.250.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Base game, Desert Luxe, Holiday Celebration Pack, My First Pet.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing in Live Mode with access to a clean, working shower. It should just... happen.
What happens when the bug occurs? All sims, to my understanding, have a very frequent desire to shower and autonomously do it regardless of their hygiene meter's fullness. They hop in the shower for two seconds and hop back out, crossing large lots to find a shower, sometimes repeating the action several times. They break conversations and some actions to go do it almost compulsively.
What do you expect to see? Usually, I believe sims should only autonomously shower when their hygiene meter is getting low, or if they have a related cleanliness trait or a want.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I use cosmetic CC for hair and clothing, but no script mods or anything making fundamental changes.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I have only ever had this issue after yesterday's update (05/12/2023).

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? put a shower in the house and turn autonomy on
What happens when the bug occurs?  Sims go to take shower constantly even when their hygiene bar is full or there's someone else using the toilet in the bathroom
What do you expect to see? sims take shower only when their hygiene is low and no one is in the bathroom

Just wanna mention that this has been a problem with vampires for a while now (especially with the Odorless perk), seems it's either spread to all sims with this update or it's a similar issue.

What happens when the bug occurs? Sims will keep showering even after having just showered, often interrupting socials.
What do you expect to see? Sims showering just the once.

I’ve noticed a new bug (?) 

My sims have been taking back to back showers (full hygiene) even after they’ve just finished a shower. (please help omg) 

This has been happening autonomously since the most recent update (Console version 1.84)

There's already a bug report here Sims-Constantly-Trying-to-Shower please add your Me too in the first page. If I may give you some advice, before opening a new bug report, check that there is not one already open about the same problem as yours, this way you will help the work of volunteers here on the forum, especially after a new patch is released.

In the meantime, I recommend that you turn off autonomy.

Omg SAME I’m glad that it’s not just an issue on console. Initially I thought it must’ve been a pack of mine bugging out. Clearly not.
