    I have heard of making nervous purchases but never about nervous cooking… Sims however will no longer endlessly autonomously cook food and then forget about it. Food is a terrible thing to waste.

    Fixed in Patch 1.75.125/ 1.42

    Maybe the issue triggered by the quality of the dish? Perhaps the "fresh chef" trait too?

    @darnellcotez2 But all my sims are doing it all the time. The sim who cooks the dish won't eat it they just cook again and finally grab some chips to eat. But another sim in the household will later pick up what was cooked previously and eat it

    Me too!! All they do is make food even if they just made something, my sister has also been frustrated since she’s off grid rags to riches and grows her food and she just keeps cooking.

    I own all the packs. My adult sims all are obsessed with cooking and making drinks, but don't consume any of them automatically.

    The only time they would eat what they cook is when I select "serve meal" option.

    @IngeJones ive had to change the way i play and make families because of this bug. not fun at all

    I quit the game because of this bug and won't be returning any time soon as long as this bug is still a thing.

    It’s almost impossible in a house of 8 to keep them under control. I’m honestly debating turning autonomy off completely until this is fixed which is very frustrating because it means having to constantly micro manage everything

    @co3vungtau Well, at least it made the attenuated Laundry List. I'm hoping they really fix this one for good this time.
