    I have heard of making nervous purchases but never about nervous cooking… Sims however will no longer endlessly autonomously cook food and then forget about it. Food is a terrible thing to waste.

    Fixed in Patch 1.75.125/ 1.42

Had this happen earlier, sim had made 3 different meals on the grill but was very very hungry and kept making more meals without eating them.

    @Kacela_Ani Same. Mine will have 3 leftover meals in the fridge, but will instead only eat cereal, peas, and animal crackers. Or they will try to cook multiple things, leaving cutting boards and ingredients all over the house. Multiple people on console, PC, modded and un-modded are having this problem, I don't know why they refuse to fix it. It's very annoying, I stopped playing for a month and the problem is still there, I would've thought they fixed it in the most recent update, but nope. I heard MC Command Center has a tuner to turn off autonomously grabbing quick meals and cooking.

      @moisturizedtoes Well, I thought about doing that for a while but didn't until you brought it up. So I tried it out. And it works. I used MCCC command to turn off cooking autonomy to the fridge, stove and grill. Luckily I didn't have to wait long for my sim to get hungry. I did the auto-solve and he is going to grab a piece of cake from the fridge. He won't get it on his own but at least I don't have to fuss with him as much.
