I just came in to see if anyone else was having this problem as well. Sad but glad to see i am not the only one.
I am also seeing a lack of mouth animation in the main game as well.

I'm having the same problem.
The new update wrecked my game! I've uninstalled and reinstalled sims 4 twice now, copied all mods and cc to the desktop so that I could boot the game completely fresh and for some reason now my sims mouths don't want to open all the way and have very limited movement. I only updated the game because I was anticipating the vampires game pack (don't really care for toddlers) but what's the point in getting the pack I've wanted from the start if my sims mouths don't even open half the time? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Because I want to play the vampire game pack very much and I have invested a lot of money in expansions for this game.

Hi @Jubilicious
unfortunately, there is nothing you can do
I've merged your post with exiting bug report
Thank god i am not the only one, ia m having this issue not only in CAS but in the whole game, no obne moves their moths when they talk, other tghan to show expression....
- Okay, so, it's not exactly game-breaking (well, not for most people), but I've run into an issue since the January 2017 update Dx I know they added teeth customisations, but now my sims mouths don't move. I can still hear their voices, but the mouths stay shut. Can this be fixed please? This is without mods running in my game.
