Update:
There's a patch today that addresses the issue with losing relationships after entering build mode from map view.
I am really disappointed.
I hadn't played my most played household in maybe 1 or 2 sim days because I started playing a brand new one. I came back to check up on them just to see when their birthdays were so I could throw a big party for them. Note, these sims were very in depth and had a ton of relationships. A husband and wife, soulmates, with two children. So many friends including ghosts and the grim reaper. I worked really hard on this household with their skills and careers. So, when I came back again, just after maybe a day or two of playing in a different household, all of their relationships were completely wiped. I'm not just talking about minor acquaintances, I'm talking about ZERO RELATIONSHIPS. It's like they hadn't even met their own family. All of them in the household were completely wiped clean. Its as if the husband and wife had never met. I'd click on one of them and it would say "introduce". Their lives were so in depth and now everything is completely gone other than their skills and careers.

*I have all the latest updates and patches since Oct. - Nov. 2017
*I have GT, GTW, Vampires, and CL expansions and game packs
*They live in Windenburg
*I have some mods and custom content
After reading many threads, I've noticed this has been an issue since the games release.
I'm extremely saddened and I don't even want to attempt to reintroduce them to each other. This shouldn't even be a thing. What is with EA??
There was a bug that caused this (merged your thread with that)
Do you have an earlier save you could restore ? The bug should be fixed.
