Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Build a basement and put the fabricator down there. Have your sim either be upstairs or on the stairs and tell them to use fabricator to make something.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim doesn't always make it all the way to the fabricator before it starts using it.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see my sim actually standing in front of the fabricator before they start to use it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I installed Cottage Living. My sims also transport themselves everywhere instead of walking a lot of the time.
I've experienced two pretty noticeable bugs since installing Cottage Living. It appears to only be affecting my existing sims and not new. Could be old cache files interfering? I don't know, but one bug is random teleportation. The other I have addressed here.
