What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Batuu, My First Pet, and no kits installed
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure
What happens when the bug occurs? Indoor or outdoors- when sims have to go up or down a staircase (of any height) they stop and wait at the stair until I move into view of them. So issue is, in multiple sim households- they queue up at the stairs and if I am playing elsewhere on the lot, I don't realize they are stuck
What do you expect to see? Sims use the stairs as intended without me having to be there for each time
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I believe this has only started happening since the new cottage living install or patch that same week
I repaired game and uninstalled CC, issue still occurs. It happens for all age sims at all times whether they are going up one stair to get into the house or a medium height staircase to go from 1st to 2nd floor, etc. It happens going up or down the stairs. When I tell the sim to go down or upstairs- they wait at the staircase until I pan the screen where they are in view. I do not have to have the sim selected for them to initiate taking the first step, and once they take the first step I don't have to keep the view on them for them to completely go down the stairs. If I wait long enough they will eventually just shoot over to and appear where they were going like a glitch.
