If you investigate this thread, good news! ... EA is fully aware and fully apprised of the dimensions of the problem and is working on a fix as we speak!  (And for all we know, they'll release an update any day now with LOTS of issues fixed, and people will be over the moon with joy!)

    I have no pets but i was wondering, does this problem also happen with pets? Do Cats & Dogs do something when they are out of camera? Do they eat / sleep if you don't watch them or do they just die? That would be funny.

      In my game, there are three pets, only one of which I "invented."  The invented pet is in one of the huge single-floor apartments in the city.  I am not sure, but now what *I* wonder is, if a pet dies, can you use their urn to generate the Day of the Dead wanderers?  I found out you can still collect the skulls and, before this huge hiatus I've taken because of the glitch, my guys were collecting those skulls, among other things.

        I've been checking once per day for an update or patch.

        I have a friendly, neutral question, just curious, for anyone willing to answer.

        How long *do* we wait for this?  It's been several weeks.  NOTE:  I'm aware that the people repairing/coding the game are very, very busy and have a lot to deal with.  I've been assuming they'll want to release a fix that encompasses a whole bunch of corrections, sending all the Sims players into a fugue state of relieved, grateful joy.  (LOL.)  I'm wondering whether there's any way to know how soon we'll see an update or patch, which I've been assuming will include a fix for the issue described in this thread.

      @Tenseijken Yes it does. I've got 3 dogs in a 3 story house with a basement and the dogs teleport all the way down to the basement sometimes if I don't have my camera focused on them to make sure they can walk down the stairs.

      This constant babysitting every freaking sim on a lot is ridiculously annoying. This bug completely breaks eveything, even community lots with stairs.

        hey I totally am on your side with this! I’ve been doing the same thing (checking everyday for a fix and if it’s not fixed I turn off the ps4). 
        I’ve been dying to play it, it’s my favorite game and this bug has really put a damper on the whole thing because I want to be in a nice multiple story house but now I’m in a tiny apartment to help with the glitch and to be honest, it just got too boring so I am very frustrated as you are. I really want a quicker game patch than how long it’s taking. I mean I’m trying to understand that they need time to work on it but it is simply unplayable (as you said) and I’m desperate for a fix so things can go back to normal. I feel for you! This is a HUGE issue
