[FIXED] Sims washing hands in sink in different bathroom

    Sims now more consistently wash hands in the sink closest to the toilet.

    Fixed in Patch 1.99.264/1.78

    please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issue,

I have this too. I've just started removing all sinks from the houses and putting in extra dishwashers. Now there is no more wandering to the sink on the far side of the house.
