Sims now more consistently wash hands in the sink closest to the toilet.

I get this too and am tired of it. Sims go from the upstairs toilet to the downstairs sink then back upstairs for a shower... wastes so much of their time you have to wake them up 4 hrs before they have to leave for work with all the silly delays like wandering around for sinks, sniffing floors or complaining about the decor they don't like.
They do it on community lots too, like if you put a bathroom on each side of the high school so they won't have to walk too far from class/the cafeteria, they use the toilet then walk to the other side of the school to use the sink.
This has been happening in my saves for years. It was particularly bad for my Secret Agent Sim, as he would come home from those 18 hour shifts with his needs trashed.
It would go like this:
Me: Oh, you poor thing! Use the bathroom next to your bedroom and then go to bed.
Sim: walks up two flights of stairs and pees.
Sim: walks down three flights of stairs to wash his hands in the basement.
Me: ............seriously?
Sim: walks up three flights of stairs and barely makes it to bed
Me: :-/
After the next shift:
Me: Okay, since you had trouble last time, I'll queue up washing your hands in the same bathroom. There you go. Pee, wash hands in the sink in the same room, and goes to bed.
Sim: walks up two flights of stairs and pees
Sim: walks down three flights of stairs to wash his hands in the basement
Me: You're just trolling me now, aren't you?
Sim: walks up three flights of stairs to wash his hands a second time in the upstairs bathroom
Sim: passes out on floor
Me: has no sympathy
