    • Directing a Sim to water plants in a garden will no longer cause the Sim to fixate on watering the same plants over and over again, but instead will share the H2O with every plant that’s in need.

    Fixed in Patch 1.47.49

The exact same thing is happening with me. I keep having to restart my game almost every single time my sim Gardens to fix it. Plus I can’t hire a gardener in the first place to pass the task onto someone else and I don’t know why!

    It's September 14th 2018 as I write this.

It's happening to me also on a public lot that I created.  Circle Pots and Squares both.  My Sim stands in one place and waters the same plant over and over, or, wandering between 2 planters and watering them, but not moving on, and not stopping.  I'm only using MC Command Center Mod, otherwise base game.

I recently discovered this issue as well. I had not played this game in over a year. Upon arrival back, I noticed plants in existing crafted pots did not give an option to water. I made new pots and sold the old ones. Now the option to Water All appeared. Doing so caused me to water the same plant over and over again. Spacing them apart bit by bit did not solve the issue. Going into build mode and moving the plants to a different planter did alter the water state. I will have to wait and see what happens next time I try to water. Them. Plants are indoors, the Fountain View Penthouse, to be exact. I do not run any mods nor do I run custom content. I have not installed Seasons. Two sims on lot, both over lvl 1 Gardening.

I should also add that I had an entire garden pot go "invisible." I could not see it, nor the plant inside. Attempting to place another object there told me I was overlapping another object. Saving and restarting the game solved this issue. The pot went missing during the watering fault though.

  • Hi,

My sims is gardening level 10 and the watering problem just started recently. She repeatedly waters the same one or two plants and even those stay dry. It's so frustrating as she needs the flowers for work.

Me Too.  Greenhouse in planters so can't use a sprinkler, butler gets stuck in infinite watering, gardener with 10 and green thumb gets stuck.  Super annoying.
