[FIXED] Small Eyes, Wide Jaw Glitch

I have this problem too.

This is a real problem for me. I think the title should be "Small Eyes, Wide Jaw, Flattened Profile Glitch" personally, because when you look at the profile on the bugged male sims, it also gets very flat, and the flat as a pancake side view is bothering me as much as the small eyes and wide jaw problem. For me the flat profile *always and only* occurs when the wide jaw and small eyes bug occurs. I have seen others report this too. I think it gets overlooked at first, because you have to look at your sim in side view to notice it. I just don't want that aspect to be missed when the first two are adressed.

I'm having this glitch as well.  I've been playing with aging off so far but would like to turn it on at some point soon and don't want my male sims turning out looking odd.

I then altered his appearance with more of what his parents and siblings have looked like:

Then I returned him to the child state and jumped back to teenager and these facial features stayed. So then I jumped the above teenager image to YA and his features, lips too I have noticed, all changed again. It seems like all their lips thin out also:

Then I altered the face AGAIN (setting him back as close as I could to the teenager look), at this adult stage before making him an older adult, this is how he looked right before aging him again:

So it seems most of his genetics are thrown out the window with every age change, and he gets smaller eyes, broader jaw, and thin lips. It's annoying the PLUM out of me!

That's exactly what's happened to my female child Sim. Her father was affected with boulder-jaw and squinty-eye syndrome. Unfortunately for her, she took after her father's genes and ended up looking like this.

I did not notice this glitch at first because the first Sim I aged up after October 1 was Asian and already had narrow eyes and a flattish profile, but I can confirm that I have this bug as well.

I wish there was some way that we could bring urgent fun-destroying glitches like this to the devs' attention, but I feel like they get lost in a sea of easily worked-around inconveniences like the shower animation glitch.

But there is literally no point in playing a game about people and genetics if every Sim ends up looking the same.  For the first time, I've run into a stop-playing-until-they-fix-it bug, and I did not want to stop playing.  Very disheartened that there has been no response (that I can find) from the devs about this.

Is there a 911 line for glitches?  Heh

I had a teen male sim age up and wondered why his eyes got smaller and his jaw got so pronounced even compared to his strong jawed father. I've now had to stop playing because I don't want him to mutate further. 

I think the emotional response to this and the number of people who have suspended play justifies at least a progress report sometime soon. If only to say "we're aware of it and are in such and such a stage of working on it."
