Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When the current Sim being played does not have a self interact menu pop up.
What happens when the bug occurs? After clicking on the current Sim being played to use the self interact menu options the self interacting menu does not appear.
What do you expect to see? The current Sim being played should have a menu of self interactions displayed for selecting as action.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I am having a problem with one of the Sims in my currently played household that I have never had before. After logging onto Steam and before starting The Sims 4, it needed to update. After the update completed and the game loaded, I proceeded to play. However, when I attempted to self-interact with one of the Sims in my household, I could not get the self-interaction menu to pop up.
Before the update, I had noticed last week that with this particular Sim, right after stopping them from sleeping and trying to self-interact with them (e.g., Go Jogging), I would have to wait until they were completely out of bed before I could get the self-interaction menu to pop up. This Sim is able to select everything as normal, just not itself. All of the other Sims in the household work normally as well.
I have never downloaded custom content or mods. However, I am not sure if perhaps I unknowingly downloaded custom content or mods when placing a lot from the gallery that another user has created. I have no idea what to do to fix this. While I am not completely computer illiterate, I have no knowledge of where to look through the files in hopes of fixing the problem.
If anyone who has had this same problem or is aware of it could be so kind as to help, I would greatly appreciate it. Please provide step-by-step guidance in layman's terms to help identify and resolve the issue.
