[FIXED] Song/Book/Paint/Nectar progress bar fills up action never finishes

    Sims should now actually be able to finish writing songs. Perhaps those of us with closets full of unfinished projects should take notes.

    Fixed in Patch 1.103.250/1.84

I also had the same issue and tried doing it on another sim. I had mods installed but removed them for testing. It did work on the other Sim. I think it may have something to do with the fact my one sim has the rewards trait for Creative Genius childhood aspiration that comes with Growing Together, which is supposed to speed up the time it takes to write songs, make paintings, etc. Writing songs worked on all my sims except the one with that trait, but I could be wrong. I will also be sending in my save file. 🙂

UPDATE: I tested my idea by removing the trait. I used the UI cheats mod for those wondering, but I am sure there is probably a cheat code to accomplish this for those looking to fix the issue. And it worked! My sim that could not previously complete writing songs was able to finish after removing the reward trait for the Creative Genius aspiration.

This is what I did after reading your post and it worked. Sad that the trait is virtually unusable though.

      Just wanted to note that this is happening to me since the Ranch update, and I’m not sure if it’s every creative endeavor or just nectar making. Last night I was making it fine, today the sim has been marching on strawberries for over 12 hours. His skills go up, but the nectar finishes. I tried resetting the object. Resetting him. Replacing the nectar making thing. Throwing out the batch. Nothing is working. 

      This sim does NOT have the Creative trait type. He does have the nectar making trait and the rancher trait.
