[FIXED] Song/Book/Paint/Nectar progress bar fills up action never finishes

Yep, it's doing it for my sim too. I removed the Creatively gifted trait, I've gotten rid of the mods and the cache/resource, repaired, nothing has worked to fix this so far. Maybe it's just my save, I dunno, but because of it I wont be able to complete the musical genius aspiration. I've also used more than just the one piano as a test run, still nothin.

Same problem here. No mods ever. Need I say more, this is obviously a bug.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all expansion packs, all game packs (except MWS), all stuff packs (except PPSP, CKSP, MHSP, RGSP, BYSP, TLSP, HSHSP), and about half the kits (can specify if necessary)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim who has completed the creative genius aspiration with the "idea person trait" attempt to write a song or to write books.
What happens when the bug occurs? The loading bar in the queue fills up green, yet the sim never finishes, and keeps working on it forever. Redoing the action has the same result. This happens regardless of instrument type, however as far as I'm aware, all other creative actions mentioned in the trait work fine.
What do you expect to see? The task completed, probably quicker than normal with the "bonus" from the idea person trait.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Not as far as I'm aware, I believe it has been broken since the Growing Together pack's release.

I experienced this bug in my original game, and tested it in a new world to make sure mods were not the problem. The issue happened for a child sim too where she couldn't finish her song on the piano after getting the trait, and followed her into the teen life state, same thing occurred for the test sim. The bug makes completing some aspirations impossible, unless you remove the trait through cheats (I used uicheats).

I also have experienced this problem on Xbox.

While I have experienced this a few times, I've mostly been able to finish writing new songs.  However, what I have noticed is that, if you are part way through writing something, get interrupted/need to cancel (because Sim need to go to work or use the bathroom) the action, when you come back to continue on the song, it starts it all the way over from the beginning.  If you don't finish start to end, you will never have saved progress with it.
