Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You open sim specific inventory after getting realm of magic items.
What happens when the bug occurs? It crashes the game and closes it down.
What do you expect to see? The game not closing and i should be able to access my sims inventory.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have stacked brooms in my inventory, and downloaded the emergency patch today and nothing done for this bug. I opened the inventory and scroll down until I saw the stacked brooms and bam, crash... This better be solve in another emergency patch, im done with the sims. And I am certainly not buying the new pack in this state.
Nope no brooms just wands and familiars.

I have the same issue with stacked piles of fur (Pets expansion).
Very strange. I checked whether I had this problem half an hour ago, and I did (hovering over stacks of brooms in inventory).
But then it magically went away for a few minutes.
I restarted and loaded some old save files, went back to the current save and switched households a lot - no problems with stacks of brooms. I could drag a single broom out of the stack into the world and back and everything. I restarted the game once, and the problem was still gone. I restarted again, and now it's back with old saves and new ones (I restarted three times now).
So it's really not "100%" but "50% - 99%", however it's much closer to 100% than 50%...
@Aridela how did you get the piles of fur into a sim's inventory? I tried it with a furball cat but the piles I get are not draggable to the inventory and the only interaction option is to "Clean up hair pile" (which throws it in the bin).
@Francoisf30 did you get a chance to check with other collectibles from Batuu, like the data shards or whatever they're called? My game crashed with the kyber crystals.
@Alas_EnkiduI did not check those specifically, and I dont remember if he had the data shards on his inventory... Although it seems to touch only the items that has a special stackable icon, like the brooms/wands/ligthsabers. Do the kyber crystals have a special icon when you stack them together... I think they do, out of memory.
I say that just as observation, because all other collectibles from base game dont have that since they only stack with the exact same item... My spellcaster had so many things in his inventory, there is an actual bar on the right and while looking at stuff at the top and middle of the inventory, it worked fine... only when I got to the bottom, where the actual stacks of wands and brooms are located that my game crashed and force closed.
I believe the data shards only stack as any other normal objects, like crystals for instance... I could be wrong.
The same thing has been happening to me with the brooms and wands...very frustrating and I hope they fix that soon!

Though I didn’t think to check and see if it happens while stacked items are in sims inventory or not, but my game has been crashing a lot today.
I also noticed while reading comments, that it seems to happen more or so with Spellcaster sims and the sim I’m playing with now is a Spellcaster too. Not sure if that has something to do with it, but whatever the reason this need to be fixed ASAP.
I thought it was because my mods was outdated since the last time my game did this that was the reason, but still happening after updating them.
Right now I’m just reminding myself to keep saving constantly. Ridiculous! 😤
@5hmn6q7jualpAfter multiple tests in game, this is not a spellcaster problem, rather a stackable objects problem, and not all, basically, in game if the objects have a special icon when it stack, then it causes issues, and those objects for what I know are the brooms and wands from ROM, the lightsabers and kyber crystals from JTB, and I did not test the Strangerville clues items, but I think they also had a special icon regrouping them... Its essentially an inventory into another inventory.
