- Stair Railings no longer disappear when one tile is placed next to a one tile room.

Apparently fences are now causing stair railings to disappear as well. The problem got worse, not better, and apparently it's obvious that EA and the Sim Gurus give zero fribbs about this bug.
In the top screenshot, the stairs are supposed to have railings on both sides of the stairway. However, in the recent update, the railings disappeared as if a wall was still built next to it (that still hasn't been fixed by the way)
In the bottom screenshot, the same situation occurs, but in both the lower and upper stair cases, where the stairway is missing a railing, but there is a railing in the middle because it is not intersecting a wall.
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
In the Growing Together update, the developers added a quote-unquote "feature" where the railing will only show up on one side of the stairs; however, rather than taking the time and effort into redoing/adding the stair railing build tool (which many Simmers have been requesting for years), they just modified the stair railing behavior to automatically hide the railing if it intersects with a wall (probably to get rid of the infamous stair railing clipping glitch that's plagued builders for many years) However, because of the broken glitchy nature of the game's coding, they didn't anticipate that this broke many Simmers' builds. And this very bug that's going on is the end result of this massive development oversight.

Receiving this in my save too, and that's with all mods removed. It's deeply frustrating and like you mentioned, I have doubts that those in EA will touch on this bug and actually produce a fix on it. My whole build is centered around these stair/fence railings and it's hard not to be distracted at the glaring ugliness of invisible stair railings where there are fences. Very much hope this is fixed because it's removing any appetite for me to play on my main save.
Yes, same problem here. Even when a wall or fence just touches the side of the stairs.

there you can see the Problem. the Stairs go over a platform and we cant see the Stair rails disappear
I just noticed this problem too after the last patch, in houses where the railings have been fine, suddenly they just disappear.
