Steam players: You should be prompted to update the game at this time, but if not you can untick the DLC in the DLC manager, then check the box again to re-download.

I think this issue is self-explanatory just by looking at the pictures. Pretty much all the Text from the Horse Ranch Expansion pack is blank!
I have attached a couple screenshots on where the text is missing! However, also Sims from Chestnut Ridge were missing their names.
Having exactly same issue with the new pack. Don't have any mods installed. Game was reinstalled. All the lots, items, activities, traits are with blank text field.
@Tinkerbell20203 Same here! A file integrity check also didn't help, and my friend seems to be having those same issues. He usually plays with mods, while I play vanilla.
The issue seems to be limited to the Horse Ranch Expansion. At least for me.
I'm having the same issue. I asked a friend, and the outlier seems to be that we both bought and installed the DLC through steam. I'm curious if you also used steam to purchase/if you preordered?
@Genggeng555 I am also having this issue and am unaware of how to fix it
