[FIXED] Swiped Objects don't appear in household inventory

One of my Sims families is a family of thieves all with the kleptomaniac trait. The trait has been working perfectly fine since it was included in the game, but suddenly it's not working properly. ...

    Sims with the Kleptomaniac trait should no longer place items they have stolen into the inventories of the Sim they stole the items from.
    • I feel as though the story of Robin was lost in translation.

    This was fixed in Patch 1.32.1 ... again

Still having this issue as well. No mods. No CC. Game is up to date. I've tried repairing. I still don't receive any item that is swiped despite getting the buff and a notification stating it was successful. The item will disappear from the world, but never appears in the inventory. I received the first item I swiped (Just some food from a bar), but nothing else since.

Is the stuff just completely disappearing from existence?

With the previous bug that was fixed, a klepto would steal something, and then it would appear in the household inventory of the people they stole from, just like it was being auto-returned instantaneously.

Have you checked the household inventory of the people you robbed?

    I was also having this issue and it was driving me crazy but I found the issue I was having was actually very simple. I was looking in the inventory of the Sim who was swiping the objects and found out these items were being placed in the inventory of the household which was under build/buy mode.
