The high chair seems to be a little buggy for me when it comes to autonomy.
Adult sims seem to enjoy putting and removing toddlers from them between interactions (sometimes leading to the queued interaction from the player being cancelled), and also disregarding any rotten dishes left on the chair when gathering them.
I wouldn't be surprised if this all ties together under the same issue.
since the latest patch update my game freezes when a message pops up about a toddler returning from daycare - even though they are already in the house (on potty in my game) and all adults are in the house too.
No CC so no clue as to why it does this. I have to actually log out of my desktop as the game wont close - just one big white screen!!!

I seem to be experiencing this bug. I just didn't realize it was a bug. I thought that Evie was always "at daycare" because they live on the vet clinic lot and not the residential lot. But when I went to their residential lot to start playing them today I noticed that even there it shows her at daycare. I found a thread on the Sims forums with others that had this problem but they all reported that after traveling or giving the toddler a task they showed up as at home. This will be the third time I've played her which totals to 6 sim days and every time it has said she's at daycare the entire time. It's nothing more than an annoyance since I can still control her and the parents still check on her.

could you create a new thread for me ?

@crinrict I found a way to fix it once I knew it wasn't just because they don't live on a residential lot so there's no need. When they were at the park I sent her home and then when they traveled from the park back to the vet clinic lot they brought her and this time when she returned from daycare she really did.
