[FIXED] Toddlers cannot interact with extended family
Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1 45.62.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The easiest way is to create households as follows: 1. Create a family consisting of an adult mother and father, a young adult daughter/son and a toddler. Move them into a house. 2. In Manage Households create a separate household with the young adult. Give this young adult a child in CAS. 3. Arrange for the two household to meet by going to one of their houses.
What happens when the bug occurs? The toddler is unable to interact in any way with his/her extended family. In this example his/her grandparents or the other toddler.
What do you expect to see? For the toddler to interact in the same way it would with other sims including toddlers.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This bug appears during ordinary play, not just when setting it up as detailed above and it means that toddlers can have no relationship with other toddlers in the extended family until one of them becomes a child as neither toddler can interact with each other.
Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Tag
We have addressed an issue where sometimes after traveling Toddlers would no longer be able to interact with extended family members (Who could blame them, just finished a long trip, you’re tired, probably need a change of clothes, a bath, a good sippy cup… who wants to talk with family?)Fixed in Patch 1.96.365/1.71
If you're still experiencing this issue, please create a new thread.
