Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use the phone or computer to adopt a child
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim walks to the front of the lot, begins to fade out, and then seems to immediately reset. The child is not added to the household.
What do you expect to see? The child I selected to be added to my household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please describe the patch or change you made. 7-23-24 patch
After the most recent patch, it seems sims can no longer adopt. I tried multiple times with several ages and my sim t-poses and resets as she tries to leave the lot.
