[FIXED] Unable to interact with mailbox

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? I don’t know how to find that but I just did the 2/27/24 update
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything except Journey to Batuu and the Castle Kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Click on a mailbox
What happens when the bug occurs? None of the usual options appear. Just a greyed out “no mail has been delivered recently).
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the usual options of get mail, sort junk mail, check stories, vote for NAP, etc. and in this specific case the ability to send a book to the publisher.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I was playing this morning with no issues. I quit doe a while, came back, downloaded the (2/27/24) update ans can’t use the mailbox for anything other than shipping on Trendi or Plopsy because I don’t click the mailbox for those.
Since today's update, one of my sims cannot interact with the mailbox. Her partner can, and I've removed all mods and still have this issue.
- I've tried leaving the lot.
- I've tried moving from the lot.
- I've reset my sim several times, first by left-clicking, then selecting reset sim. Then, by typing in cheats, testingcheats on and resetsim.
- I've removed all mods.
- I've tried deleting the mailbox and putting a new one in place (even using various mailboxes, not just the same one).

I'm not 100% sure if all platforms have rolled out but I'm going to lock this now.
Addressed an issue where Sims that had achieved certain skill levels and had unlocked or crafted specific recipes, or had written music, were then unable to select interactions on themselves, on other Sims, and on certain objects.What can you do if you still have issues ?
1. Remove all your mods/cc and delete the localthumbcache file. This IS important. Test without them.
2. Repair the game
3. Check your game version. You can find it in the lower right corner of your main menu. It should be: 1.105.332 or 1.88 for console
4. If you still have issues, create a new thread and provide your Sim to the gallery. Make sure to post WHICH objects you still have issues with

There were a lot of threads and some were just turning into collections. I did not read every post in here either so it's possible that strays landed here. If you had a different issue, create a new thread (again, remove your mods/cc first)
