[FIXED] [V] Old weakness still active after removing

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Reset a Vampire Sims that had Sloppy Drinker as a weakness and select other weaknesses other than Sloppy Drinker
What happens when the bug occurs? My Vampire Sims' thirst does not fill as fast as the other vampire's thirst when drinking from another sims or plasma packs. It still fills as fast and to the same extent as if the Sims had the Sloppy Drinker weakness
What do you expect to see? The thirst of the Vampire should fill at the same speed and to the same extent as any other vampire's
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

So I didn't find anything about this anywhere, so here I am.

When fiddling around with weaknesses for my vampire Sims, I came around testing Sloppy Drinker, which didn't sound too bad. But it got annoying with time as my Vampire would barely be able to fully fill the thirst bar, so I decided to reset the skills and weaknesses and pick different weaknesses.

But the thirst bar still fills at old speed (1 arrow) in comparision to the thirst bar of her offspring who never had that weakness (3 arrows), and plasma packs turned nearly useless. I suspected that mods might be at fault, but even with disabled mods the error will occurr for me. I tried multiple times to reset the weaknesses, but it never changed anything.

Fixed an issue where Vampires were exhibiting their old weaknesses even though they were not applied.

Fixed in Patch 1.55.105

It's possible that affected Sims are still not fixed.

Try re-adding the weakness and removing again.

Vampires currently seem to have a number of similar issues. I might merge this with someone else later.

For now: How did you remove the weakness ? Did you have other weaknesses you removed that are still active ?

So anyways, vampire cheats don't work, or are extremely messed up. So I hate the system to begin with, due to weaknesses, UGH. I'm not here to talk about that. It's about the cheats. YES, testingcheats are on. Anyways, I remove the weaknesses via cheats. OK, it works fine, my vampire can eat and stuff. Then, I save and come back, go the vampire panel, no weaknesses showing. OK, but I get my vampire to eat, BOOM! He VOMITS!!! This means his weaknesses came back! Dang it! Didn't even show them in the panel. Also, he was hissing and things like that. WTH? I thought I removed that. Note I have repaired the game and reinstalled and even reset my PC to attempt to fix this. None of it had success. I didn't pay $20 for a game pack to have a feature I use all the time to fail suddenly and never work again!

I used the Reconfiguration Drink. No cheats involved, just thinks that are in the gameplay already. So I am left wondering why it won't work

Hmm, maybe this is also related to the whining dog wants a walk ALL THE TIME bug... making me think the issue might be trait related.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing as a vampire choose the withered stomach trait. Have the Sim drink a draught of reconfiguration. Choose perks that don't include withered stomach. Attempt to eat anything.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim becomes nauseous and vomits after eating despite no longer having the withered stomach trait.
What do you expect to see? The sim should be able to eat normally again.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

I have tried every solution I could find online. The only thing to work so far is drinking a draught of reconfiguration. Selecting withered stomach and applying. Then drinking ANOTHER draught of reconfiguration. The problem is this only works until the game is restarted! Please help!

A workaround is to use the cheat "sims.remove_buff 152241" each time you load the game save. It comes back every time you load the save but not manage world.
