- Vampires who started burning in the sunlight while traveling away from home, will no longer continue to burn when returning home and retreating inside.
Fixed in Patch 1.47.49
Mods/CC need removing.

I did not have issues with my non-active career vampires.
I do not use CC and I always test issues I encounter without Mods.
It is a rare occurrence. It took several hours with a new game before I saw it again. Since they don't die but just get very very low in Vampire energy it is no biggie and will probably not warrant the time it will take to try and track down what causes it.
Maybe it's a simple case of the moodlet not being removed properly ? I had that once when my Sim went back into the house from the outside (no work involved).
Traveling fixed that
I had this happen a couple of times now and was able to do some testing so here is a workaround if you don't want your Vampire to come home very low on VE.
1. You can save and reload the current game.
2. Travel somewhere with another sim.
Both will remove the moodlet and as a bonus Vampire energy is restored to just below full no matter how low it was.
During work or did you also get it outside of work ?
During Work and School at the same time.
1 adult at work (Bodybuilder)
1 teenager at school (the two other teenagers also at school were not affected)
Additional times were only one were affected.
Twice an adult at work.
Once one of the teenagers at school
Well I'm of to see how the newest patch fare.
Can confirm travelling removes the sizzling moodlet - while vampire sim was burning at work in the secret agent career, I used my other sim not at work, to travel from a retail lot back home, and the moodlet disappeared for the sim at work. A good interim solution.
