I've had this problem too in the sense that I started off with wants and fears on, decided they were annoying (lol) and then turned them off. But now even though they are turned off in settings, my sims are still gaining them and being affected by them!

    Did you ever get a solution to this? My game is doing the same thing, even without switching households

      @jaexhn I would think it a miracle if the bug was ever fixed.
