[FIXED] [XB/PS] Can't raise or Lower walls/Toggle floor (D-Pad Patch)

I play on ps4 so don't suggest to remove mods or cc, I do not have these things.

I can't change levels or put the walls down. I am a devoted Sims player and I have been playing for a while.. but I made a new PlayStation network account for a different family member and it doesn't work anymore (on the family member's account). I haven't checked my account yet, but is there a way to fix this? Please help.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try using the cross button on the controller to move between levels in an building. or change perspective in build mode
What happens when the bug occurs? I cant use the cross button for its uses in live mode and build mode
What do you expect to see? not being able to move between the levels of a building
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

(So I recently installed the latest patch/Update on my xbox one console, and ive also recently just bought Strangerville. Im not sure if either one of them/both/None are causing the issue of not being able to change floor levels in build mode.)

In Build mode, I am unable to change the floor level of the lot, so I cant view upper or lower floors.

I can’t lift walls on my game. Just bought it 3 days ago. I tried to hit the left button and nothing happens. I even tried moving the family. What should I do please help I can’t play the game properly.

This is on the Sims 4, Xbox One. 

I'm a builder in the Sims and of course with the new bunkbed update, I wanted to make some fun teenager dorm rooms. I went into build/buy mode and I went to go the walls up with the d-pad but it wasn't working at all. This only started to happen after the most recent update and the d-pad is working everywhere inside and outside of the game.

I've tried to restart my game and that didn't work.

Deleting my saved file is not an option. I've been playing with this file for roughly 20 generations. Any other solutions?

What happens when the bug occurs? I can't change which floor of the house I'm on or change whether the walls are up or down.
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to go up or down floors in both build and live mode, I also expect to be able to put the walls up or down

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know what that means it’s not happening for everyone in my group Thats why I came here
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t go up floors with the controls so I have to always click auto solve which takes the fun out of playing I can only put the walls down on the first floor as well even when I get to the second floor I can’t put the walls down

I can’t put my walls up & down except on the first floor & I can’t get to any other floors

What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t switch between floors, I can’t make walls in risible to build or actually see my sims and every time I put a roof down the game kicks me out

I feel like you don’t care about console players which is not fair. We paid the same amount of money but we get way less stuff than PC players. Sometimes I honestly want to delete the game because I remember it’s a product of corporate greed.

i was building my house & was trying to put things on the inside walls but the walls wouldn’t show up. normally i can use the d pad to raise/lower the walls as i please as well as see different levels, but all of a sudden it isn’t working. i tried resetting the game, console & the remote but nothing has worked. the d pad works for everything else but not that function. i checked that i was using the right controls too and it says i am but it just doesn’t do anything & i can’t seem to find any other buttons or controls to do it either. 

please help this is very frustrating argh!
