[FIXED] ymHair_SDX035Ponytail Distorts Around Ears

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.318.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except for Modern Menswear
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Put the new ponytail from the 7/23 patch on a male sim. Enlarge the ears to their max.
What happens when the bug occurs? The hair mesh around the ears breaks and stretches oddly the larger the ears get (on both sides of the head). Additionally, some of the hair texture appears to be overlapping the back of the sim's ear (regardless of ear size).
What do you expect to see? For the hair to not distort around the ears and for no texture to overlap the ear.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. After the 7/23 patch, which added the hairstyle.

This screenshot shows the distortion happening on both sides of the head when the ears are enlarged. Also some of the hair texture is overlapping the back of the sim's ear on the left of the image.

    • Previous SDX Ponytail's texture will no longer distort around pulled out ear shapes.

    Fixed in Patch 1.110.265/2.01
    Please create a new thread if you're still experiencing this issues

    How often does the bug occur? 50-99%
    What is your current game version number? 1.108.318
    What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions: Get To Work, Get Together, City Living, Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Get Famous, Island Living, Cottage Living, and Growing Together. Game packs: Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood, Realm of Magic, and Dream Home Decorator. Stuff packs: Holiday, Spooky Stuff, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Backyard, Bowling Night, Fitness, Toddler, Laundry Day, My First Pet, Nifty Knitting, and Paranormal. Kits: Blooming Rooms only.
    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open CAS and give a Sim with the feminine frame the long-length, braided hairstyle from the most recent set of base game updates. Following this, give your Sim any full body outfit or top from the feminine category.
    What happens when the bug occurs? The bottom part of the hairstyle asset clips through top and full body clothing assets. 
    What do you expect to see? I expect to see the hair not clip through the shirts/full body outfits and stay above the outfit.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now - I've removed them.
    Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? These issues emerged following the two base game patches released on 23 July 2024.

    I do have screenshots of this issue and will provide them as files.
