[FIXED/MOD RELATED] Sims at home but not playable/Stuck in self-care mode

Has anyone found a solution to this issue because I just had one of my sims do the same thing... It was a child sim and he was about to leave for school and I saved my game and when it came back on he was grayed out and the lightning bolt was on his picture to "take care of self" and when I hovered my mouse over his icon it said "At home" But he clearly was not.

    Just have another sim call them and "invite to hangout at current lot" and they will show up.
