[FIXED/MOD RELATED] Sims at home but not playable/Stuck in self-care mode

When I load my game and enter my lot all of my sims are greyed out and have the little lightning bolt that says 'take care of self'

I have tried repairing my game, removing the sims 4 folder, renaming the folder, and finally uninstalling and reinstalling. Nothing is working to fix this issue.

    Are you using any mods in your game ? If so, please remove them.

    I was having this problem too and for me removing the Azoresman_No_high_school and Azoresman_No_Grade_School mods made the problem go away so if you have these mods try removing them.

    Hi. I've been having this issue for months now, I've tried reinstalling and have no mods or even CC.

    I have this glitch too and I don't even have the GTW expansion

    This issue was initially a bug which has been mostly fixed in my opinion.

    I did see it the other day in my game but I believe it was triggered by another issue (which I should make a report about).

    Use leave work early solved it with no issues for me.

    I believe other instances to be mod related
