Food spoils imediatly after taking it out of the fridge

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.104.58.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living , Cats & Dogs, Seasons, Discover University, Eco Lifestyle, Snowy Escape, Spa Day, Dine Out, Parenthood, Jungle Adventure, Dream Home Decorator, My Wedding Stories, Perfect Patio, Movie Hangout, Romantic Garden, Kids Room, Bowling Night, Toddler, Laundry Day, My First Pet, Moschino, Tiny Living, Nifty Knitting
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Cook a group serving, leave it out of the fridge for a few hours ou put it in the fridge.
What happens when the bug occurs? Everytime my Sims cook something, it spoils after a couple of hours in game, even though it show the correct number of hours it is suppose to last. If I put it in the fridge, it lasts longer, but as soon as they grab a serving of it or take the entire group serving out of the fridge, it goes bad. It happens so fast that they can't even finish eating the serving they took. I've tried taking out my mods, but the bug is still there.
What do you expect to see? The food isn't suppose to spoil after mere hours and shouldn't spoil so fast when took out of the firdge that my Sims aren't able to finish a serving.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    Hi @JehYasmyn 

    Try the following

    • Close the game
    • Repair the game.
    • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
    • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
    • Close the game again
    • Copy JUST your save game from  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old\Saves to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Saves
    • Start your save
    • Check if you still have the error
    • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

    Hi @crinrict 

    I followed the steps you suggested but the food still spoiled rigth after taking it out of the fridge. No mods, no CC in the game, just my save, exactly how you said.

    Do I need to test enything else with this setup or can I reset it to normal?

    @JehYasmyn Could you first test a new save game as well to see if it's save related.

    You can put stuff back afterwards.

    @crinrict Thank you for your help.

    I just tested it with a new save and the problem didn't appear, so I guess is reallt save related.

    If I save the old save with Save As to generate a new one, do you think it may solve it? I'd really appreciate any tips to recover that save, since I've been playing a legacy in it.

    @JehYasmyn You can try but I'm not hopeful that this works.

    Is every household affected ? If it's just a particular one you can try moving them out and back in.
