Freelancer Actiosn automatically cancelling and will not continue

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.85.203.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All current EP, GP, SP and Kits. I own all packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When playing as a freelancer programmer/writer when attempting to write a book the game will stop the action of making an app/game/writing a novel and refuse to continue.
What happens when the bug occurs? It happens near all times playing as a freelancer writer and programmer. When playing as a freelancer programmer/writer when attempting to write a book the game will stop the action of making an app/game/writing a novel and refuse to continue.
What do you expect to see? I expect the writer/programmer to write the book/app/game and the action be completed and not repeatedly cancelled off.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

When playing as a freelancer programmer/writer when attempting to write a book the game will stop the action of making an app/game/writing a novel and refuse to continue.

I have attempted clearing mods, refreshing the game, resetting sim and removing the autonomy of the sim - however, the issue persists in that when the freelancer is attempting the action it will stop suddenly and refuse to continue - even when trying to make a new book/app/game it will cancel the action either at the beginning or halfway through. I have attempted to continue these creations however they still cancel - I can not find an answer on the forum and it does not relate to the RoM familiars.

@Laird_Ravencroft Do you just have issues when you're writing for the freelance career ? There's an existing report for Sims not being able to resume writing here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Sim-Unable-to-Finish-Writing-Book/m-p/9370523

@crinrict Yes with the freelance writer but also in the freelance programmer as well. But I have tried removing mods and the issue persist in both careers. Freelance Ceafter also will no complete objectives. Is there a issue related to freelance careers?

@Laird_Ravencroft Not sure what's going on in your game. I just gave this a short test and it works fine for me.

Did you delete the localthumbcache file after removing your mods ? Maybe also try a clean folder approach ?

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? City Living, Island Living, Jungle Adventure, Outdoor Retreat, Realm of Magic

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? One-sim household. Turn off needs decay, give sim Liking for programming and video games, make sure not Lazy, put into Freelance Programmer career. Get any gig that requires programming level 7 or higher. Attempt to do entire gig all the way through at once while at max needs/mood. Make sure to turn autonomy off!

What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim will work part of the project and then stop. No matter how many times you re-command them to start, they will sit down, then immediately the action is cancelled. You have to stop and do something different for several hours before the Sim will resume work as commanded. This would make sense if there were low mood or needs, or if the Sim had autonomy on, but with those turned off and household needs frozen, there is NO reason for the Sim to continue to balk.

What do you expect to see? 1. Sim with autonomy off to perform ordered action, every time. 2. Sims with autonomy off not allowed to autocancel actions we have scheduled for them. 3. Sim with maxed mood and liking for the work to finish the work without stopping every hour.

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not anymore, removed them and deleted the local thumb cache, Sim still won't work straight through

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Began playing Sims 4 after the Mean Patch on 10/11/22 (this is why only one-sim households are playable) ; never played a working version of the game. Only noticed this "feature" the first time I had a freelancer sim.

@justthatweirdo Does it work if you do other computer interactions ? Do you have clutter on the desk the computer is on ?

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All current EP, GP, SP and Kits. I own all packs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When playing as a freelancer programmer/ when attempting to do any of the second steps as in "mod a game, create a app, etc. the game will stop the action of making an app/game and refuse to continue.
What happens when the bug occurs? It happens nearly all the time playing as a freelance programmer. When playing as a freelancer programmer when attempting to do any of the gigs after about 20 gigs, the game will stop the action of making an app/game and refuse to continue.
What do you expect to see? I expect the programmer to write the app/game and the action be completed and not repeatedly canceled off.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes/ but have removed it to see if anything conflicted and that is not the problem.

@crinrict I removed all that and still had the problem. I finally gave him a moodlet solver and sent them up in the rocket to woohoo. I believe he had a hidden stressed moodlet that was not showing because after that, he as able to return and finish his gig and move forward with the rest.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the Freelance Programmer job track
What happens when the bug occurs? When I choose a freelance programmer job from the options, I am unable to complete making an app or complete the websites to earn the money. The sim (with all needs fulfilled) will just stop and do something else. This happens at the 95 to 99% mark of completing the job task. I have restarted the game, left freelance programmer job and come back to it - and also removed full autonomy and this has not worked.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to complete my job tasks in the Freelancer Programmer so that I can earn money - my sim has not been able to earn any money because the job tasks cannot be completed
