I tried saving a room with urns to the gallery before the update and they didn't stay with the room, so that isn't something new since the update. Sometimes things stay with lots that won't stay with rooms. For example, apart from ambrosia, cooked food doesn't stay with a room when you put it on the gallery, but it will stay with a lot.
