At first the game was fine - building and such - nothing really lagged... Then when I got into the family I made - and was trying to set them up with their traits, objects I want in their inventory, relationship statuses, etc. It got really laggy. I cannot click on anything now (even in build mode) without some sort of lag. Some of the lags take a few seconds, others a few minutes... Yes I have CC but I never experienced lag like this before Cottage Living with my CC. (There was some lag sometimes - esp. in bigger households) but it usually was a quick fix by hitting pause and letting the script catch up... Now the lag is unplayable and effecting everything - not just certain things (like going to the toilet or going to bed, etc.)
Well EA / Maxis did a Patch Update to The Sims 4 today... Did nothing to address or fix the lag though... I can't play the game until they correct this... It's too painfully slow...
Yeah... 5 days later... still super and painfully slow... still no acknowledgement from EA / Maxis on this either...
