Same here - I'm having success with a save after the audition, go to menu, and reload the file... but it's very frustrating. Maybe it'll work for you?

The audition is still there.I tried loading a separate save and queuing up a brand new audition and this time, no audition shows up in the bottom right after selecting one from the list and I am unable to use my phone to search for more auditions.

this is still happening! its definitely just an issue with the higher paying gigs. i’ve been doing lower level gigs until yesterday when i tried to do the first bigger gig, immediately got a last exception and the audition got stuck on the job screen until i travelled to a different lot. i don’t know how EA don’t fix stuff like this more frequently.

My sim goes to her audition and comes home and it still says she has an audition to attend. I tried quitting the career and joining again and it’s still an error. Also tried repairing the game and it’s still happening. She is basically unplayable as an actor.

Same here - I'm having success with a save after the audition, go to menu, and reload the file... but it's very frustrating. Maybe it'll work for you?

As far as I can tell, this is not during any holiday or event.
The link you posted is similar but not exact. I seem to have a two-part issue:
1. On my save with an audition already lined up, I go to the audition successfully but when I return home, nothing happens. The audition does not go away and I never get accepted/rejected for the gig.
2. On my save with no audition, I use my phone to check for auditions and accept one. After that, nothing shows up in the bottom-right (see picture) and I am unable to check for any auditions if I queue up the task.

@Valdoryin TO be sure, you're not using mods/cc ?

I gave the is short time as there's also a post in the bug forum for no notification (working otherwise though) and it worked fine for me.

Thank you. It's strange that mine won't do it but I was also having other glitches happen to. Like another sim wouldn't disappear off the lot and just stood on the edge of the lot while the game said he was at work. Maybe just had a bug up its butt. I did see a repair option when I went to look at what specific packs I had. Should I try that? Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Last night while playing I had to have my sim go jogging 4 times to finally get past 75%.
