[GF] Actor: GUI for audition/gig not properly updating

Product: The Sims 4 Platform:PC Which language are you playing the game in? English How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030 DX9...

@crinrict I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what I can screenshot now since my issue has already been fixed☹️ I'm using a Mac. When the problem occurred, I had mods, but I ensured that all the mods in my folder were updated before updating my game.

Here's what I did: I used the "Check Open Auditions" button to pick a gig. However, after that, my Actor Gig tasks didn't refresh. I repeated the same step, but still, the tasks didn’t refresh. So, I restarted my game (with the updated mods), and the Actor Gig tasks finally appeared. I thought the issue might have been caused by my mods, so I removed all of them and tested it on a new save, but the Actor Gig tasks still didn't refresh.

Then, I reinstalled all my updated mods and returned to play the same family. I checked the actor's phone, thinking about quitting and then reapplying. I noticed the "Hire a New Acting Agency" opinion, so I gave it a try, and it worked! The Actor Gig tasks appeared.

After I finished that gig, the tasks didn’t refresh again when I picked a new one, so I repeated the same trick a few times. I think I did it around 3-4 times, and then everything returned to normal. I no longer need to use the trick.

      @crinrict I'm a bit unsure since my actor Sim has the "Established Name" perk to skip the audition process. However, when I tried it on a new save, it seemed like nothing refreshed after I picked an audition. I didn’t get any notifications, and the Actor Gig tasks didn’t update either.

        @kaceycc I tested the audition which caused no issues for me but I can test a gig as well.

        Are you affected by the reaper issues ?

        I am a bit confused by this: 

        notice that the task bar that indicates how you need to prepare for the role, never appears. 

        The prep tasks are part of the career tab in the lower right corner. Is that what doesn't' appear ?

    This is exactly the problem I’m having (#24)  and every step I did to fix it, I’m on Mac too. Thank you for mentioning the agencies because switching fixed it for me.


    No rabbit hole issues for me, either, i have the Established name reward so the tasks just weren’t appearing. 

    I didn’t have any issues with the grim reaper event for the first few weeks but it disappeared after the big update. The issue with career also just started for me, it was fine when I played early in the event.
