I have spliced Strawberries and Snapdragons to get Dragon Fruit. Also Chrysanthemums and Tulips to get Bird of Paradise. It has been over a year in game time, and neither of them have produced the new plant. I have tried keeping it outdoors, and indoors, but nothing. I have used mods in the past, but this game is a fresh install, no mods or custom content, and its a new game. I want to splice plants in order to get the Cow Plant, but I need the Dragon Fruit, I cant even get that. I noticed there was a thread posted years ago about the same problem, but it was fixed. I haven't seen any other posts about this issue that have been posted recently though.

Ok, so about 20 minutes after posting this, I finally got one Bird of Paradise. I guess the odds at getting the rare spliced plants are now so low, that it hardly ever happens? I'm an unlucky person by nature, so I guess that affects my video gaming too! At least I got one, here's hoping for the Dragon Fruit now. I also want an orchid now, so that's probably going to take another year.

Hey there @EvilVampyre,
Are your grafted plants not ever growing and just staying as dirt piles? Or is the plant not ever showing as successfully grafted- like when you hover the mouse over the plant does it show this as a new grafted plant?

The plants grow fine, and they are grafted fine. For example, it lists Snapdragon, Strawberry and Dragon Fruit in the tooltip, but it was only producing Snapdragons and Strawberries. It took me over a year in game to get one of the grafted plants, and I haven't had it show up since. All my plants are sheltered, and fertilised. I tend to them every day. Its just seems extremely rare that they show up.
