[GRO] Liking Arguments & Malicious Interaction is Nonfunctional

With Sims 4 Growing Together, when Sims that both like malicious interactions perform malicious interactions with one another, their relationship value lessens. I assumed that they would both enjoy the interaction and their value wouldn't lessen at all. Has anyone else been experiencing conversation topic bugs?
