Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By using any CAS asset that has a shiny, metallic, shimmery, or reflective texture. I see this on both makeup and clothing items. I've had this glitch for a very long time but did not have this issue for a few months after installing the game on a new computer until it happened again sometime after I installed High School Years and not due to downloading an update to the game or the EA App.
What happens when the bug occurs? In CAS I use items or makeup that should be shiny or reflective, etc but they appear with a non-shiny texture. This also persists in Live Mode.
What do you expect to see? The CAS items to appear with their proper texture both in CAS and in Live Mode.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This is as they appear in CAS. They appear the same way in Live Mode. The lipstick example is using what is supposed to be the glossy variant as can be seen in the picture.
